Bible reading

On such a remarkable day 16 Th July 2014, i.e., the feast day of our lady of mount Carmel, we feel it a necessity to read the Bible and ponder upon god’s words before beginning with our main programmme. The Bible reading was done by Rosina Dahanga.

Prayer service

On such an auspicious day, it is a must to remember the lord our creator and ask for his blessings for the satisfactory accomplishment of the programme. So we have a prayer service. There were 5 girls who through intentions prayed for the Carmel congregation and its patroness, the superior general of our school, the sisters who had their feasts on that day and so on. The girls who prayed through intentions for our school were Prerna Tresa Lawrence, Vinisha Dahanga, Rikshita Tigga, Rosina Dahanga and Ety Jenice Ekka.

By nature, dance is the expression of emotions, feelings and opinions through the movement and manipulation of the body. Dance very often finds itself in the form of telling a story or conveying emotion through choreography. So, here we represent the sense the prayer in a Carmelite through a prayer dance on the song "PRANAM RANI".

If man is the best creation of God then song is the best creation of man. It not only touches the heart but also manifests the implicit humanity and sensitivity which has separated man from animal. .It is a wonderful force which can bring and establish international peace, love and brotherhood what speeches and articles cannot do, the magic of singing can do easily and naturally. So, we take you to the magical land of song.

Group dance

Dance represents ones feelings. The story and the movements represented in their dancing reflect their emotions. Dance is the expression of emotions, feelings and opinions through the movement and manipulation of the body. So, here we present a group dance that portrays the gracious Carmelite and their belief in The Father Almighty.

Inviting the judges to take their respective seats

We would now like to call the judges to come forward and take their respective seats. There are three judges who will mark the performances of the four squads. The judges are as follows:-

  • Mrs. Dimple Saha
  • Mrs. Suchitra Rakshit
  • Ms. Sumitra

Announcement of Squad- wise dance competition

  • Each squad will be allotted 15 minutes to arrange and also to remove after the item.
  • Everything has to be done with soft music as the background.
  • Each squad will be given 2 minutes to speak about your respective squads. This will be done before the squads come up and put up their performances.
  • The students of class XII will be allotted only 10 minutes to showcase their experiences in Carmel for the past 13 years.

SHANTI SQUAD

This squad was given the topic 'DEEP FAITH IN GOD'. The teachers responsible for the preparing the students of this squad for the programmme were MRS. REBA, MRS.ARCHANA and MRS. CHANDRAWATI.
Always pray to have eyes and see the best in people, a heart that forgives the worst, a mind that forgets the bad and a soul that never loses faith in god. With these intentions the girls of Shanti squad are coming up with their performance

JYOTI SQUAD

This squad was given the topic 'HONESTY'. The teachers responsible for the preparing the students of this squad for the programmme were MRS. SHIREEN, MRS.SUMANA, MRS. NITU and MRS. BHASWATI.
The 1st step towards god is honesty. Honesty begets truth. Truth begets light and the truth will set you free. With these intentions the students of jyoti squad are coming up with their performance

PREETI SQUAD

This squad was given the topic 'HARD WORK'. The teachers responsible for the preparing the students of this squad for the programmme were MRS. RUBY, MRS.SUPARNA and MRS. MEENAKSHI.
Hard work is the basic for everything worthwhile you chive in your life .A dream doesn't become reality through magic, it takes determination and hard work. With these intentions the students of preeti squad are coming up with their performance

NEETI SQUAD

This squad was given the topic 'RESPECT FOR LIFE'. The teachers responsible for the preparing the students of this squad for the programmme were MRS. BASANTI, MRS.MEGHA, MRS. MOM and MRS. RIVA.
By respect for life, we become religious in a way that is elementary, profound and alive. With these intentions the students of neeti squad are coming up with their performance.

Class XI

The next performance is by Std.XI presenting 2014 session parliament. It is the fusion of comedy and a transformation which took place in the parliament. So get ready for this roller coster ride.

Class XII

As I lane down the staircase of my past memory, it’s really hard to talk about 14years of memories in one short programme of 10 minutes. This blue building means more to us than words can express. Therefore, Std.XII is going to present a short programme before you with the invention to thank our sisters, teachers and the entire school who taught us to keep trying and never to lose our hope.
